I ordered this TV from Play which arrived yesterday in the usual efficient manner.

I brought this so I could hook the girls Xbox 360 up in the dining room.

What can I say for £240 it is an excellant piece of kit.Awesome picture quality and really easy to set up.

WP-o-Matic enables administrators to create posts automatically from RSS/Atom feeds.I use this on another Shifter site of mine to drag the latest additions from iTunes.

Its not a bad plugin though I can not get to grips with the custom template option though I think this is more to do with my ability then any fault with the plugin.

One complaint I have is with the latest update.The author as included the following code that displays a message to switch to Firefox or Safari:

if (isset($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT']) && (strpos($_SERVER['HTTP_USER_AGENT'], ‘MSIE’) !== false))
die(’Please switch to Firefox / Safari’)

Ok its easy to fix (delete the piece of code out of wpomatic.php) its just really annoying .

Still a pretty good plugin (perhaps the above was a mistake?)

So I wonder what Mr Charles Dunstone,the founder of Carphone Warehouse, is up to now.

From the man who revolutionised the way we buy mobile phones to the introduction of free broadband now the carphone group is offering Free Laptops.

The giant of the mobile retailers as also announced a link up with the American retailer Best Buy this can only help carphone transform itself from being only mobile phones to offering a more diverse range of products.

I suspect that it will only be a matter of time before the carphone group offer a complete wireless solution to the domestic user along side the more traditional domestic products such as televisions.

If I were Pc World or Currys I would start putting defensive plans in place now to cater for the coming onslaught though I doubt there will be much they can do once Mr Dunstone and his teams get into over drive.

Do you know they already have a show room within one of their London stores demonstrating the latest wireless technology.
