I have upgraded the site to Wordpress 2.7.1 which does not seem to have caused any issues and done some upgrades on a couple of the plugins.

AdRotate for WordPress
This as got to be one of my favourite plugins for WordPress .
It makes managing your ads such a simple process and with the latest version(2.0) you can set start and expire dates for each banner ad.
Using this with the Shifter focus function makes dropping Banners into posts a really simple exercise.
Adrotate features the following
- Show random banners
- Review which banner is shown the most
- Track how many times a banner is clicked and show it’s Cick-Through-Ratio
- Put random, or selected, banners in pages or posts
- Activate or de-activate banners at will
- Edit/update banners
- Preview banners on edit
- Per banner/function to set a specific banner or keep it random
- Multiple groups per banner location
- Works with Google Ads and other referrer/ad programs
- Widget for the sidebar included
- Integrates with WordPress dashboard, yet allows you to completely style to your own need

MyWordPress Upgraded to WordPress 2.7
Have finally got round to installing the latest version of WordPress on MyWordPress.I have spent the last couple of weeks testing it on a local set up.
One of the concerns that I had was if Shifter would play nicely a rather foolish thought really given the design of Shifter.
I have not made my mind up yet if I prefer the new WordPress Admin layout but with all the extras this is really a minor thing.
It looks like the Shifter Theme and all the plugins work OK so I am well pleased.

AmazonFeed Plugin
I have just installed the Amazonfeed Plugin by Warkensoft Publications .

This plugin will allow you to turn your WordPress website or blog into a money making machine while at the same time offering valuable additional related materials to your visitors. It will automatically search for and display products from Amazon.com which are specifically related to the topics you write about. Once you install the plugin, you simply have to decide if you want to show products related to your Categories or Tags and the plugin can do the rest. All you have to do is continue writing about your favorite subjects and the plugin will offer related products to your visitors.
The Amazon links are automatically generated at the bottom of the posts by the Amazon Feed plugin.
A really neat way of generating some revenue with very little effort.
I have asked the author if it is possible to have a choice of what Amazon country to use rather the default Amazon.Com.
I have hacked his code so for this site it picks up Amazon.co.uk time will tell if this works.
The author as added the ability to select locale and also that links can be opened in new window.
